Afghanistan Questions?

I think we should leave Afghanistan, at least the military should. The Taliban was a political group running the country under islamic law. al Quaeda is the group of people who have declared a Jihad on the US. The Taliban protected the jihadists, that is why we went to war in Afghanistan. The only reason to stay is to try and keep a foothold for democracy and secular governance. Pakistan has nuclear weapons, as does India, Our hope is to keep Pakistan from being taken over by the jihadists (al Quaeda)
