R&S what's your take on the petitions to get rid of prop 8?

There is absolutely no justification for how the matter was treated. The Fundamentalists were actually being ANTI-CHRISTIAN by using lies and slander to demonize the LGBTQ community (I wouldn't be at all surprised if God was facepalming right now). It's also anti-American because one of our founding principles was SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE - in case there are any Fundamentalists on here, I'll break that down into tiny words so your tiny brains can handle it: it means that religion shouldn't have a place in politics. Sorry, but that's the founding principle. America wasn't founded as a Christian country; it was founded as a DEMOCRATIC country.
