Do baboons and chimpanzees compete for territory?

I believe baboons mostly live on the open savannah while chimps are in the forested jungles mostly. But do they ever wind up in competition in marginal habitats? And if they do,is the chimp dominant being so much bigger, stronger? I have heard that baboons have a wicked bite which can do serious damage to leopards or lions.
