What can I do about a deferred finding that was entered by my attorney when I wanted to go to trial?

I was set to go to court to testify on my behalf.I even had proof that I was a good person and the State Trooper made a mistake by citing me with a Neg 2nd degree citation. I paid a lawyer to work for me and he went to court this morning, even though my case was to be heard around 2:30 pm and my lawyer went in front of the judge in the am hours. I then found out that the lawyer just asked for a deferrel. JUST SO YOU KNOW I never never spoke with my attorney...He never showed to speak with me, because he knew he had it deferred I sat there like a fool and waited til everyones cases were heard. I was then asked why I was there and then she exchanged the info with me that I am sharing with you...HELP
