How do you get colleges to look at you?

I was wondering what the best ways to get college looking at you like for athletics. I do basketball and am pretty good, and I also do track&field placing 1st or 2nd in most of my events. (discus, shotput, 100, and 4x100) I also do chess, random but just wondering if any schools look for chess players or if there are chess schools. A final thing of was wondering how to get schools to notice is academics, I have always had good grades, A's and b+ was the lowest in elementary and same for junior high with a gpa of always at least 3.75 on a 4.0 scale-high honor roll. So I was wondering what ways there were to get colleges looking at these areas and like offerin scholarships. I also will be doing football next year, my first year of highschool-9th grade. I've had coaches say I could play corner back, linebacker, kicker/punter, wide receiver and possibly qb. Thanks for your help!
