Is a faint Equate Early Response BFP still a BFP?

I've never had a positive pregnancy test in my entire life, so I'm kinda flying blind here. I just took an Equate Early Response pregnancy test and it looks like a really faint positive. I'm 18dpo, so I would have thought it would be darker. I don't have to squint to see it, but I'm having trouble believing this is real.
